About The Position

National Water Services, LLC. is hiring Field Technicians to service FreshPure water vending machines at assigned retail stores in the Harvest Loop/Armitage area of Chicago, Illinois. This independent contractor role involves making a scheduled visit to each assigned store weekly or every two weeks, depending on the location. Each visit takes about an hour, and total weekly hours depend on the number of stores on the route. The work is focused on cleaning, documenting, and reporting; technicians are not expected to repair machines. Mileage and travel are included in the stated $26-per-hour rate, and supplies are provided. The role offers a consistent route and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
Have a smartphone with a camera for submitting photos.
Pay attention to detail and follow the checklist consistently.
Show up reliably when scheduled.
No water-systems experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, janitorial work, or similar work.
Be a self-starter who can work without close supervision.
Be a good communicator who keeps the home office informed.

Responsibilities

Visit assigned retail stores weekly or every two weeks, depending on the location.
Clean and disinfect FreshPure machines inside and out.
Take meter readings and record the data on a service report.
Photograph the machine's condition at each visit.
Submit completed service reports to the home office.
Report damage, mechanical issues, and other unusual conditions to the home office.
