About The Position

The Flooring Field Technician - Entry Level is a field position having contact with builders and homeowners. Duties will include small repairs, inspections, flooring finish work, and window coverings installations. Our ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and able to work with a sense of urgency while remaining positive and maintaining accuracy through daily processes. This is a hands-on position but will require basic technology skills using email, online calendars, basic phones apps, etc.

Requirements

At least 1 year experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Good basic skills with hand tools
Intermediate technological skills – smart phone, email, etc.
Strong organization skills
Mathematical skills
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to lift 50lbs out in front of their body to install blinds
Comfortable climbing up a ladder, sometimes in high staircases
Problem solving mind set
Proactive thinker
Ability to focus on tasks within a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers
HS Diploma or equivalent
Basic math, reading and writing
Time management
