We are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/ Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician for our Kosciusko, MS location.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
1 to 5 years of gas pipeline operations and maintenance experience or equivalent petrochemical / oil industry experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and a history of safe work.
Ability to work outside in hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to utilize a PC and manage a filing system.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet.
Ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns.
Strong commitment to personal and Team safety.

Nice To Haves

3 (plus) years of gas pipeline operations and maintenance experience
Understanding of DOT 192 regulations
Natural gas compressor maintenance experience

Responsibilities

Carrying out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline activities.
Assisting with operations and maintenance of Boardwalk’s facilities located in Isola, Lexington, and Kosciusko Mississippi areas.
Ensuring environmental health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system.
Corrosion control, valve inspection and maintenance, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, one-calls, preventive pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter station and compressor station, valve sites and right of way maintenance.
Assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities, including turbine compressors and associated equipment.
Recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety related operating conditions, accident and near miss reporting, as well as emergency response (HAZWOPER).
Ensuring regulatory compliance, operations, maintenance, and repair procedures as associated with DOT, industry standards, manufacturer, and company guidelines as they relate to facility equipment and appurtenances.
Responding to call-outs and participating in the on-call rotation related to pipeline and compression operations and for responding to emergency or abnormal situations.
