We are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/ Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician for our Kosciusko, MS location. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for carrying out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline activities and to assist with operations and maintenance of Boardwalk’s facilities located in Isola, Lexington, and Kosciusko Mississippi areas. This position will be responsible for environmental health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Specific duties will consist of, but are not limited to, corrosion control, valve inspection and maintenance, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, one-calls, preventive pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter station and compressor station, valve sites and right of way maintenance, and assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities. The facilities consists of turbine compressors and associated equipment. This position will be responsible for recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety related operating conditions, accident and near miss reporting, as well as emergency response (HAZWOPER). This position is also responsible for regulatory compliance, operations, maintenance, and repair procedures as associated with DOT, industry standards, manufacturer, and company guidelines as they relate to facility equipment and appurtenances. This position will be expected to respond to call-outs and will be part of the on-call rotation related to pipeline and compression operations and for responding to emergency or abnormal situations. The successful candidate will be required to live within 30 miles of the Kosciusko facility located in Kosciusko, Mississippi, in order to respond to call outs expediently.
