About The Position

The Field Technician is directly responsible for the successful operation and oversight of the Enterprise and Cattlemen’s booster stations. Normal operational duties include daily equipment rounds, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of various systems to include, but not limited to natural gas driven engines, compressor skids, glycol dehydration contactor, TEG reboiler, condensate collection systems, produced water systems, vapor recovery compressor units, environmental recovery compressor units, booster control systems, etc. The Field Technician is required to work independently and with other company and 3rd party contractors to maintain and safely operate booster station equipment. The Operator must adhere to all company safe work and lock-out tag-out policies. Common working conditions include working outside in the heat and cold in an isolated environment, working from heights, and exposure to hazardous processes and chemicals. Normal work hours are 7 days/ 7 days off, 12 hr. days. The Field Technician will be reporting to our Enterprise Booster Station in Keenesburg, CO. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of direct operational experience in the midstream industry
  • Relevant Military experience
  • Safety and environmental alertness, and promotes a safe work environment by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Proficient with SAP
  • Working knowledge of common AI Tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Daily Equipment Rounds and Operational Oversight to include Process Optimization
  • Daily Review and Operational Assessment of the Booster DCS Control Systems to include Process Manipulation where Necessary.
  • Daily Completion of all Required Booster Paperwork to Include Round Data, Environmental Records, and Safety Documentation
  • Respond to Booster Station Call-Outs while On-Shift from the hours of 1800-0600.
  • Respond to Booster Station Emergencies and Assisting in Maintaining Emergency Equipment
  • Completion of Mandated Safety and Regulatory Trainings – Computer Based and Instructor Led
  • Maintain Professional Relationships with Customers, Landowners, Contractors, and Vendors.
  • Perform Environmental and Regulatory Checks as Required by the State and EPA.
  • Perform and Document all Booster Station Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Activities
  • Perform Daily Housekeeping Duties to Include Daily Upkeep of the Engine and Compressor Skids
  • Effectively Communicate Operational Problems to your Immediate Supervisor
  • Assist with and Help Execute Operational Construction and Capital Equipment Projects
  • Daily Travel to Cattlemen’s Booster Station Across Landowner’s Property
  • Willing to Work Outside Immediate Area of Responsibility to Include Roggen Gas Plant
  • Willing to Work Extended Hours During Booster and Plant Outage Periods
