About The Position
The Field Technician services and manages field installations of participant monitoring devices. The role acts as a liaison for field locations, including courts and agencies in the designated service area, and provides local support and training to those organizations. The position is full-time and located at Quitman County Parole in Marks, Mississippi. Salary is undisclosed.
Requirements
- A current driver’s license and a good motor vehicle report (MVR).

- One year of experience in criminal justice or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, thorough customer service to participants, supervision officers, and senior court and county officials.
- Install and deactivate technology devices on monitored participants, in offices or jails.
- Process incoming and outgoing calls with company personnel, referring agencies, and clients to troubleshoot equipment abnormalities.
- Maintain devices, typically by replacing devices or adjusting strap size and fit.
- Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments with courts and agencies in the service area.
- Document pertinent information electronically in the monitoring system database.
- Maintain the cleanliness of inactive equipment.
- Review participant fee accounts and process payments.
- Represent the company at local events and conferences when assigned.
- Serve as a liaison for field locations and provide local support and training to area courts and agencies.
