About The Position

Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico. Travel the country while supporting the construction and maintenance of some of the world's most advanced data centers. Astro Pak is hiring Traveling Field Technicians to join our nationwide Data Center team. In this role, you'll travel to Data Center projects across the U.S., performing specialized cleaning and passivation services on high-purity piping systems that support critical infrastructure. No industry experience? No problem. We provide paid training and the opportunity to build a long-term technical career.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Real ID or Passport for air travel
• Ability to attend two weeks of paid training in California or Texas
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in PPE
• Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
• Willing to travel extensively

Responsibilities

• Travel to data center job sites throughout the U.S.
• Perform specialized chemical cleaning and passivation of piping systems
• Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and other field equipment
• Safely handle chemicals while following strict safety procedures
• Work alongside a team to complete customer projects safely and efficiently
