About The Position

Leola Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee residential construction sites with integrity and excellence. Leola Construction is a residential shell construction company based in Gibsonton, Florida, specializing in slab masonry, block masonry, and framing for single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums across the Southeast. The company serves major home builders, delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget. Comprehensive training is provided, including for candidates who are new to some technical aspects of the role.

Requirements

At least 2 years of management experience.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

Construction sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
OSHA 10-Hour Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and employees, fostering relationships that support project success.
Oversee daily residential construction site operations, including slab, block, and framing activities, to meet plans, schedules, and budgets.
Lead subcontractors and hold them accountable for high-quality work and a safe job site.
Conduct site inspections and progress reviews, using analytical and decision-making skills to address issues proactively.
Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local building codes, and use time-management skills to keep projects on track.
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to optimize resources and maintain efficiency.
Communicate with project managers and clients, providing detailed updates and reports.
