About The Position
Gr8ttek is seeking a part-time Field Specialist for its Infrastructure Delivery team. Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, the Field Specialist performs hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products. The role involves basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair, and may require moderately complex analytical skills and decisions based on established department and company guidelines. The position may also provide functional guidance to colleagues.
Requirements
- Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to drive to client locations.
- Ability to lift or move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance.
- Must own a basic repair tool kit.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
- Accept and deliver all assigned service calls.
- Complete administrative tasks associated with each call.
- Control and return assets and inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- May provide functional guidance to colleagues.
