About The Position

Gr8ttek is hiring a part-time Field Specialist for its Infrastructure Delivery team. Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, the role provides hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions for various client products. The technician performs basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repairs, and may use moderately complex analytical skills to make decisions under established department and company guidelines. The position may also provide functional guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• Typically, technical school certification or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive to client locations.
• Ability to lift or move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance.
• Must own a basic repair tool kit.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Accept and deliver all assigned service calls.
• Complete administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Control and return assets and inventory.
• Provide functional guidance to colleagues when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
