About The Position

The Field Services Project Coordinator manages and tracks field service projects from initiation through completion, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards. The role coordinates schedules, oversees project performance, and serves as a liaison among field teams, clients, and internal departments to support seamless project execution. This is a direct-hire, full-time, on-site position at United Communications’ Murfreesboro, Tennessee office.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber optics, infrastructure deployment, or a related field.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Manage and track field service projects, forecast timelines, adjust schedules, facilitate project meetings, and provide progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, customers, and internal departments; address customer concerns, resolve service issues, and follow up in a timely manner.
Coordinate technician schedules, assign tasks, and ensure personnel, equipment, and materials are available for field operations.
Conduct site inspections and audits to verify work meets design specifications, quality standards, company policies, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
Track project expenses, assist with budget forecasting, verify invoiced work, identify cost-saving opportunities, and establish performance metrics.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, resolve operational challenges, escalate issues as needed, and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of service requests, project progress, outcomes, and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews.
