The Director of Field Services provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all clinical and field-based experiences within the teacher preparation programs. The Director is responsible for the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of field placement systems that support candidate success, program quality, and compliance with state, accreditation, and institutional requirements. The Director oversees the placement of students across teacher licensure programs and cultivates partnerships with school districts, private schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality clinical experiences. The Director leads the collection, analysis, and reporting of field experience data to inform program evaluation, strategic planning, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts across the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Working collaboratively with academic program directors, faculty, and university leadership, the Director plays a key role in advancing educator preparation initiatives, supporting accreditation activities, developing policies and procedures related to clinical practice, and ensuring alignment with state licensure standards and national accreditation requirements. The Director serves as the primary institutional leader for field services and represents the School in external partnerships, professional organizations, and workforce development initiatives.
