About The Position

FAR Inspections is hiring an Inspector Coordinator to support a roster of independent inspectors working mortgage field service orders across the country. The Inspector Coordinator keeps that flow moving for an assigned territory. Most of your day is spent in our inspection management platform watching open orders and identifying ones at risk of going late. You will be in Slack with inspectors throughout the day to pull status updates, answer questions, and confirm completion. Client emails come in regularly asking for updates on specific orders, and you'll respond to those. When an inspector cannot complete an order in their assigned area, you will send the work to a backup inspector. Phone calls come in from inspectors who hit issues in the field and need help working through them. You will keep records updated in our systems as work moves through the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorts, filters, lookups, basic formulas).
  • Demonstrated track record of picking up new software quickly.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to track a high volume of open items at once without things being missed.
  • Calm, professional manner when workload spikes or unexpected issues arise.
  • Reliable home internet.
  • Quiet space to work from.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with InspectorADE, Forms.com, client portals, Slack, and Outlook.
  • Two or more years in a coordinator, dispatch, or operations role supporting independent contractors, field workers, or vendors.
  • Experience in property management or leasing.
  • Experience in insurance adjuster dispatch or claims coordination.
  • Experience in disaster restoration coordination.
  • Experience in staffing agency coordination (light industrial or healthcare per diem).
  • Experience in real estate transaction coordination.
  • Experience in restaurant or hotel operations.
  • Prior mortgage field services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Watch open orders and identify ones at risk of going late.
