Field Service Welder/Mechanic - Hermosa Sd
About The Position
This position will work in a team environment on the removal, repair, rebuild or replace of defective components on heavy industrial equipment. Candidate must possess a strong commitment to safety of self and others. Must be willing to travel, work outside in adverse weather conditions and be comfortable with heights. Candidate must be willing to learn new tasks and have pride in the quality of their work. Routine overtime is involved. Must be at least 18 years of age. We require a driving record that is acceptable to our company insurance. We conduct a welding test to determine proficiency and placement.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience with welding
- Knowledge of mechanical aptitude
- Strong commitment to safety of self and others
- Willing to travel
- Willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions
- Comfortable with heights
- Willing to learn new tasks
- Pride in the quality of their work
- At least 18 years of age
- Driving record acceptable to our company insurance
- Pass a welding test to determine proficiency and placement
Nice To Haves
- OSHA safety training
- MSHA surface training
- Basic knowledge of machining processes and measuring tools
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading
- CDL driver’s license
- Qualifications in other trades we work in
