About The Position

The Field Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs company equipment, including filtered water systems, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewers. This customer-facing role requires technical skill, a professional demeanor, and safe work practices. Hands-on training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, though it may vary by market. The hourly pay range is $22.87–$23.50, based on experience and location, with overtime potential. The position is based in San Antonio and involves driving a company vehicle to customer locations.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude, including experience working with tools or repairing equipment.
Comfort operating a vehicle for work and familiarity with routes or GPS; experience may be in a company or personal vehicle.
Professional, service-minded demeanor with good customer service and communication skills.
Valid, active driver’s license.
At least 21 years of age to operate company vehicles.
Basic computer skills to record service and communicate with team members.
Ability to lift 70+ lbs, bend, squat, and climb ladders.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
Replace water filters, clean and sanitize tanks, change UV bulbs, and clear water lines.
Inspect equipment for leaks, malfunctions, and safety concerns.
Follow company and customer safety policies and site procedures.
Maintain the company vehicle according to policy, including mileage and maintenance logs.
Safely transport and operate equipment and tools.
Document service work using a tablet or mobile device.
Provide professional and timely customer service at each site visit.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
