About The Position

San Antonio Chrysler Dodge is seeking reliable and motivated automotive dealership Service Technicians. The ideal candidate has demonstrated automotive technician experience, can perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs, and can maintain, repair, and deliver vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. The role requires confidence working independently and as part of a team. Technicians with ASE certification are encouraged to apply. Hands-on training and a professional working environment are provided.

Requirements

• ASE certification or graduation from an associate degree program in automotive maintenance and repair.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, and lift operation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about additional service needs so customers can be informed, including estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Participate in hands-on training and demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
