About The Position
Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician to go directly to customer mine sites in the Timmins region and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity. This role features a rotational shift schedule that allows you to return home at the end of every day. Must be living within drivable proximity to Timmins as there is no accommodation provided.
Requirements
- Post Secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics or a related mechanical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a technician in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment or mining equipment
- Valid 421A, 425A, or 310T license
- A valid Driver’s License (DZ License preferred)
- Availability for local mining shift patterns
- Must be living within drivable proximity to Timmins
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain and repair underground mobile equipment
- Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits
