ACT Power Services•Mooresville, NC
•$25 - $35•Onsite

About The Position

The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for safe, productive day-to-day onsite operations at commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic plants. The role supports preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs involving solar modules, trackers, inverters, and medium-voltage equipment, with the goal of maximizing plant production. It is a foundational position in ACT’s ACTivate Technician Track, building technical skills, safety competency, and familiarity with company culture under the supervision of senior technicians and field leadership. The position is field-based rather than assigned to ACT Power Services’ main office. Employees primarily work at customer sites where the company provides operations and maintenance services. Listed locations are preferred based on primary site assignment, but candidates elsewhere may be considered. Travel to other U.S. sites may be required according to operational and business needs. The role may be filled through external hiring or internal promotion; prior experience in another ACTivate Technician Track role is not required.
