This role is responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. The technician will attend and complete required training, maintain a high awareness of industry technical changes, and possess the necessary tools for diagnosing, disassembling, and assembling components to manufacturer's specifications. The position involves performing designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. The technician will work in an orderly fashion, seeking improvements in work methods, the work area, and safety standards. They will also maintain the field service truck, if applicable, following contamination control guidelines and performing general maintenance. The role includes inspecting components to maximize part reuse for cost control, completing required documentation using appropriate software, and monitoring job expenses against repair estimates, informing the supervisor of any cost overruns. The technician is expected to approach work positively, maintain supportive conduct, and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while meeting safety and quality expectations. Other duties as assigned.
