Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Regional Field Service Specialist, you will help our clinical teams maintain peak operational readiness across vital medical imaging equipment—including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, CR, and Mammography units— so they can deliver safe, accurate, and uninterrupted diagnostic care to our patients. Every day you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a diverse inventory of general imaging and biomedical systems. You will be expected to manage your technical work orders, coordinate cost-effective parts ordering, and provide reliable on-call coverage on a rotating basis. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical troubleshooting skills for complex imaging systems, maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards like The Joint Commission and NFPA, and thrive in a collaborative clinical engineering environment. Perform specialized troubleshooting and repairs on general diagnostic imaging systems including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, CR, and Mammography units Complete detailed and accurate record-keeping for all equipment work orders from receipt to completion Assist in ordering necessary parts and supplies to ensure cost-effective equipment maintenance and minimal downtime Lead and assist with specialized equipment projects, installations, and upgrades to optimize imaging department performance This is a regional opportunity and will require travel out of state.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field OR equivalent military education OR graduate of a technical program OR equivalent training validated through training certifications.
  • Minimum of two (2) year of experience servicing technical equipment.
  • AZ Drivers License.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
