About The Position

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist with expertise in ion chromatography (IC) to support customers across Ohio, Kentucky, portions of West Virginia & Indiana, ideally based in the Columbus area. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and on-site service to ensure customer instruments operate at peak performance. This role involves performing installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems. You will also support customers remotely, partner with Process Analytics teams, manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory, and build strong customer relationships.

Requirements

BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.
Must pass pre-employment background check, education and employment verification, and a 10-panel drug screening (including marijuana).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience traveling for field service work.
Familiarity with process-based IC applications.

Responsibilities
