About The Position

Visionix USA is seeking a home-based Field Service Representative who resides in Pennsylvania to support advanced medical and ophthalmic equipment used by eye care professionals. The role covers Pennsylvania, Ohio, and surrounding areas, with occasional travel elsewhere in the United States. It involves more than 90% travel, and travel expenses are covered. The representative installs, repairs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment in the field; works directly with customers to resolve technical issues; manages parts, tools, and service inventory; and documents service activities. Visionix provides training on its equipment and technology, so prior ophthalmic experience is not required. The role offers independence, opportunities to expand technical expertise, and support from an experienced team.

Requirements

6–10 years of field service experience.
At least 5 years of hands-on biomedical equipment experience.
At least 5 years of experience servicing, maintaining, or repairing medical devices.
Ability to troubleshoot, learn quickly, communicate with customers, and take ownership of the job.

Nice To Haves

Experience in industrial equipment service and repair.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Military technical or equipment maintenance experience.
Technical support and customer-facing service experience.
Ophthalmic equipment experience is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain medical and ophthalmic equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
