About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Full time Field Service Representative to join their team and support hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, directly interacting with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. The position requires inspecting and servicing containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces, and working around sensitive equipment and patients. Daily tasks include lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs), maintaining container inventory, using a company-provided smartphone for task management, and keeping staging areas clean. The representative will also be responsible for maintaining professionalism and a strong work ethic while representing Daniels Health.

Requirements

• Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
• Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
• A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
• COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access.
• Must be able to work in Mclaren Oakland (50 Perry st, Pontiac MI) and Karmanos Detroit (4100 John R St, Detroit MI).

Responsibilities

• Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
