This role is responsible for installations, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and software updates, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. The representative serves as the front-line technical expert, maintaining positive relationships with customers while supporting service contracts and assisting sales and clinical teams.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Prior experience in field service or hospital biomedical engineering preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of medical devices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of Mindray equipment in hospitals and clinical environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Provide telephone and on-site technical support to customers, sales, and clinical staff.
  • Maintain organized documentation and service reports in accordance with company policies and quality system standards.
  • Support contract renewals by identifying potential customers, preparing quotations, and pursuing new service opportunities.
  • Manage company-provided inventory, test equipment, and vehicle to ensure readiness and compliance with service standards.
  • Stay current on product updates and technical advancements through ongoing training and collaboration with senior technicians.
  • Partner with sales and clinical education teams to provide technical expertise during product demonstrations and installations.
