About The Position

Solventum, a new healthcare company with a long legacy, is seeking a Field Service Representative I in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is responsible for serving healthcare clients by delivering, picking up, and maintaining medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will build and maintain strong customer relationships, prepare medical equipment for patient use (including disinfection, quality control testing, and preparation), and transport equipment using a company vehicle. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people and make an impact by providing superior customer service, executing timely order management, responding to inquiries, gathering customer feedback, assisting with equipment searches, and ensuring accurate inventory control. The role also involves preparing equipment for delivery, processing documentation, and adhering to all safety and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED AND one (1) year of customer-facing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & iOS applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as, demonstrated time management & prioritization skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to your start date.

Responsibilities

  • Supports customers, including patients and hospital staff, on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer-centric solutions.
  • Executes timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Obtains and evaluates all information regarding service and product inquiries and provides prompt responses & appropriate follow up.
  • Gathers customer feedback responding and/or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Assists customers in the research and due diligence searches for missing & misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operates a company vehicle to support the equipment delivery, retrieval and onsite customer service requirements of the position.
  • Prepares best-in-class medical device equipment (cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation and routine maintenance), disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Organizes and executes assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer expected timeframes for service.
  • Tracks inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
  • Contacts customers regarding coordination of delivery and retrieval return of products.
  • Accurately prepare, Pick, Pack, Ship and Receive inbound and outbound shipments using 3rd party partners; Loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Follows all work and safety instructions and conforms to Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe working environment.
  • Complies with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
