About The Position

Solventum, a new healthcare company with a long legacy, is seeking a Field Service Representative I in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is responsible for serving healthcare clients by delivering, picking up, and maintaining medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will build and maintain strong customer relationships, prepare equipment for patient use (including disinfection, quality control, and preparation), and transport equipment using a company vehicle. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with innovative people and make an impact by providing superior customer service, managing orders accurately, responding to inquiries, gathering customer feedback, assisting with equipment searches, and ensuring safe operation of a company vehicle. The role also involves preparing medical devices, tracking inventory, coordinating deliveries and retrievals, handling shipments, and adhering to safety and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One (1) year of customer-facing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & iOS applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated time management & prioritization skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to your start date.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers, including patients and hospital staff, on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer-centric solutions.
  • Execute timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Obtain and evaluate all information regarding service and product inquiries and provide prompt responses and appropriate follow-up.
  • Gather customer feedback, responding and/or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Assist customers in the research and due diligence searches for missing and misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to support the equipment delivery, retrieval, and onsite customer service requirements of the position.
  • Prepare medical device equipment (cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation, and routine maintenance), disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Organize and execute assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer expected timeframes for service.
  • Track inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
  • Contact customers regarding coordination of delivery and retrieval return of products.
  • Accurately prepare, pick, pack, ship, and receive inbound and outbound shipments using 3rd party partners; loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Follow all work and safety instructions and conform to Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
