About The Position

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Sumner, WA). We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!

Requirements

Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
Customer service experience
Locally valid driving permit

Nice To Haves

Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification

Responsibilities

Completing repair activities on generators or components
Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of service
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
Basic Diesel Engine experience.
Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
