The Role We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Field Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing technician team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across projects. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and enjoys mentoring others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and technical operations
  • Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineering technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
  • Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements
  • Conduct quality control checks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and budget for technician operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize work and align on project goals
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Hire, onboard, and train new technicians
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting on team activities
  • Lead team meetings and training sessions to support continuous development
