About The Position

Artisight is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve as the technical link between client infrastructure and the company’s engineering capabilities. Based at client sites as needed, the role troubleshoots complex systems, optimizes Artisight’s deployed AI platform, and supports reliable technical delivery and ongoing system stability. The position is hybrid and based in Indianapolis, Indiana; candidates must be based in Indianapolis and have U.S. work authorization.

The Field Service Engineer works with clients and internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve issues, manage hybrid infrastructure and containerized applications, and support high-availability Kubernetes environments. The role also develops infrastructure automation, gathers technical requirements, leads presentations and training, communicates recommendations, and identifies opportunities to improve platform performance, client satisfaction, and risk management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise IT, Field Services, or Implementations, including a track record of managing hardware deployments and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, end user technology (EUT), hardware lifecycle processes, and basic project delivery methodologies.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.
• A thoughtful, proactive approach to risk mitigation and customer relationship management.
• Must be based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and have U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on Linux systems and IoT infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor hybrid environments, containerized applications, and Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability.
• Design and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible to improve consistency and reduce deployment risks.
• Lead technical presentations, training sessions, and knowledge transfer with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze technical requirements to inform implementation strategies and ensure successful deployments.
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance, enhance client satisfaction, and proactively mitigate risks.
• Communicate progress, technical challenges, and recommendations clearly across teams and to non-technical audiences.
