The Hydraulic Field Service Engineer supervises installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of moderate to complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment servicing systems in industrial environments. Extensive travel is required. Travel assignments frequently include overnight and extended periods away, or maybe on an on-call basis. Requires 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May require a degree or certification in an area of specialty. Has extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the hydraulic scope related to power generation and other hydraulic systems. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reports to the Field Service Manager.
