About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical service and support to medical imaging customers. The technician will install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all operational and safety standards. Working independently in the field, this position diagnoses and resolves technical issues while adhering to OEM specifications, industry regulations, and company quality requirements. Through expert problem-solving and customer-focused service, this role helps ensure reliable imaging performance for healthcare partners. Requirements

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects at once.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills, using critical thinking, initiative, and diagnostic ability.
Excellent communication and relationship-building, including clear verbal/written communication and positive interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
Flexibility, professionalism, and mature decision-making when resolving issues in fast-paced or challenging situations.
High attention to detail with reliable follow-through, ensuring accurate documentation, safe work practices, and quality results.
Proficiency with computers and related tools, including Microsoft Office, diagnostic software, hardware troubleshooting, and database entry/management.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
1-3+ years of GE CT/MR service experience

Responsibilities

Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications and customer expectations.
Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
Expand technical knowledge continually and contribute to improving engineering competency.
Provide timely project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction.
Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties as needed.
Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics.
Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.

The base pay range for this position is: Min $80,000 - Max $135,000
