About The Position

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to join their Drill Bit Team, a leader in well construction and production. This role involves delivering the latest technology in the Energy Industry, working in collaborative teams, and solving technical problems. The Field Sales Specialist will take ownership of accounts, represent Baker Hughes, and build trusted relationships by leveraging market and customer knowledge. They will act as an ambassador for the customer, contributing innovative insights to drive sales opportunities. The position requires handling complex products and systems, understanding the environment where they will be used, and responding to customer needs to ensure successful and safe downhole drilling activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in oil and gas operations)
• Proven experience as a sales representative
• Experience with drill bits and directional drilling
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Acting as primary point of contact and trusted advisor to customers for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns
• Handling complex products and systems requiring technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products or systems will be used.
• Responding to customer needs, wants and expectations.
• Evaluating the suitability and use of drill bits and components, ensuring successful and safe downhole drilling activities
