About The Position

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource company, is a distributor of fluid control and filtration systems, fluid handling products, micro-electronics, and general industrial supplies. The Field Sales Representative manages a territory in Austin and surrounding markets, with a focus on outside sales and account management for fluid control, filtration, and handling products and customers.

Requirements

Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
At least one year of field or outside sales and account management experience, with demonstrated sales acumen.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lead and coordinate a sales team effort.
Organized, detail-oriented, and a quick learner able to grasp new concepts.
Ability to facilitate training sessions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic mathematics aptitude, including decimals, fractions, and algebra.
Mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Previous industrial sales experience focused on fluid control systems, fluid filtration systems, or fluid handling products.

Responsibilities

Solidify and further develop relationships with key customers.
Identify and sell to new prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sources.
Build customer value by updating customers on products and applications, assisting with product selection, and providing appropriate training.
Prepare and submit a weekly sales call plan to the Regional Sales Manager, targeting at least five sales calls per day.
Use ACS to document customer contacts and sales activities at least three times per week.
Communicate regularly with Inside Sales, the Regional Sales Manager, and other team members about territory sales strategy progress and problem resolution.
Continually improve product and sales skills and market and application knowledge.
Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
