About The Position

This position is for a self-motivated sales representative to actively seek out and foster new customer relationships, as well as maintain current customers, for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companies.

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with strategic selling and all elements of the sales process
  • Must be able to cross multiple market segments, service lines, and geographic regions easily
  • Previous experience utilizing a CRM software
  • Must be comfortable approaching potential customers
  • Must be financially conscious, using travel and entertainment dollars to their maximum capacity
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Must have some knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industry
  • Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced office setting and be capable of handling multiple projects with firm deadlines.
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity, ethics, and honesty

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain customer relationships for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companies
  • Seek out and make initial contact with potential customers
  • Travel throughout the country and abroad, on a regular basis, to build and maintain customers
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to accumulate new leads
  • Compile information and data related to current and prospect customer interactions
  • Generate weekly sales reports for submittal to management team
  • Update customer and meeting information utilizing SalesForce CRM software
  • Responsible for the management of sales pipeline reports
  • Collaborate with management to improve and update marketing materials
  • Attend all sales meetings
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
