Requirements

  • Experience in heavy truck equipment sales, vocational truck markets, municipal sales, or related industries preferred
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electronic controls, and vocational truck applications is a plus
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information to a variety of audiences, including engineers, operations teams, sales professionals, and senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to create effective customer-facing presentations, proposals, and internal reports
  • Basic computer proficiency and data analysis skills, including CRM systems and standard business software
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet customer and business needs
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Home base location within the United States; location in the eastern half of the country preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that maximize market share and revenue growth within the Snow & Ice Division by expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • This role focuses on supporting and growing distribution channels, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and delivering system-based solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • The Field Sales Manager works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align products and services with market demands while meeting sales and performance objectives.
  • Maintain and grow sales revenue and market presence for the Snow & Ice Division
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for sales and customer engagement
  • Call on vocationally aligned accounts within the assigned territory, including OEMs, truck upfitters, and end users
  • Develop and maintain market, customer, and competitive intelligence related to the Snow & Ice segment
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of technical specifications related to truck-mounted hydraulic systems and electronic controls
  • Understand municipal procurement processes within the vocational truck market and effectively position company products and solutions to meet those requirements
  • Collaborate with the Technology Solutions Group to develop and deliver customized product offerings for customers
  • Work closely with local Field Sales Managers to ensure adequate market coverage within assigned regions
  • Attend industry trade shows as needed and assist with planning and execution for assigned markets
  • Provide product and system training to customers as required
  • Assist with diagnosing system issues related to company products in coordination with internal teams.
  • Utilize company sales tools, systems, and CRM software to manage customer relationships, opportunities, and reporting
  • Perform required administrative duties, including reporting sales activity, forecasts, and market feedback
  • Travel extensively as required to support customers, business development, trade shows, and internal meetings
