About The Position

Hancock Claims Consultants specializes in ladder assist and property inspection services, working directly with insurance agencies to support efficient claims management. The company provides nationwide claims inspections and claims support, including catastrophe response and direct inspections.

As a Roof Field Inspector, you will work as an independent contractor in Hancock’s network. You will inspect steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and conduct underwriting property inspections. Using technology, you will help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32-foot ladder.
• Must have a LiDAR-equipped device or the ability to obtain one, such as an iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro or greater.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to obtain any required certifications or credentials to join the contractor pool.
• Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, specifically steep and high roofs.
• Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction-related background.
• Insurance claims experience.
• HAAG Certification.
