About The Position
This course provides practical experience in carrying out applied research and program evaluation in a community agency or organization. The course is offered in person and is taught in English. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The listed rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology / Relevant experience
- Previous experience in training and / or teaching program evaluation
- Completion of graduate training in applied social research methods and practices
- Knowledge and skills in program evaluation
- Experience in conducting program evaluation in the not-for-profit, public, and/or educational sectors
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as may be modified by provincial law.
Responsibilities
- Carry out applied research and program evaluation in a community agency or organization.
- Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual) without modification unless prior approval is obtained from the Vice-Dean of Governance.
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat promptly if a class needs to be canceled.
- Arrange a suitable replacement instructor in advance of an upcoming absence.
