About The Position

This is a high-impact, field-facing role where being out in front of prospects matters as much as shaping strategy. As our Field Product Manager for Observability, you’ll work closely with our customers, prospects and partners across the Americas. You’ll own how Observability shows up in the field: in deals, in partner conversations and on stage. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management for Playback and working hand-in-hand with our sellers across the Americas, you will own how Observability shows up with customers and partners, translating its technical depth into clear commercial value.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Experienced in a field-facing role such as Field Product Manager, Solutions Product Manager, Technical Product Marketing, General Manager or Sales Engineering.
  • Presence In Front of Customers: Comfortable leading product demos, walkthroughs and driving opportunities forward. You’ll need to advance the product into a leading position in new markets.
  • Technical Fluency: A background in data, observability, developer tools or media tech. You must be able to convince engineers & data teams with your expertise.
  • AI Curiosity: You’re already using AI tools in your daily work and are excited about pushing the boundaries of how these technologies can accelerate product growth.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You build bridges across Engineering, Sales, UX Design and Marketing. You’ll participate in some meetings which overlap with European timezones to ensure alignment with Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Market Development: Identify new opportunities & shape go-to-market activity to ensure that Bitmovin’s Observability is the definitive choice for video streaming teams.
  • Be The Product Expert In The Field: Take a leading role in pipeline development and work hand-in-hand with our sellers to ensure efficient deal progression. Craft outreach, lead product demos and pre-sale engagements with prospects to ensure the value of our products is clearly understood.
  • Expand Addressable Markets: Build OEM relationships with partners & AI services who can embed our Observability product. You’ll lead the product into new markets to enable the world to experience flawless video playback.
  • Scale with AI: Actively integrate AI tools into your workflow to move faster. From product positioning to competitive intelligence and GTM automation.
  • Influence Product Strategy: Gather market intelligence, competitive insight and customer feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Be a Visible External Voice: Whether it’s presenting on stage, spearheading thought leadership, or participating in industry panels, you’ll be the voice of the product.
  • Enable Others to Build What Matters: Act as the voice of the customer, working alongside the core product and engineering teams based in Europe to ensure your product delivers on its goals.
