About The Position

Willow is hiring a Field Marketing & Partnerships Manager to own its field marketing delivery system, from event strategy and account targeting through communications, landing pages, collateral, and post-event attribution. This is a hands-on builder role combining strategy and execution, with ownership of Willow’s field presence and operational partner relationships. The role is US-based and fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates in specified states and an estimated 15–20% annual travel for events. The manager will develop and execute the US field marketing strategy; identify events, associations, and formats that reach buyers in priority sectors and named accounts; and maintain an annual calendar of events, conferences, speaking engagements, webinars, and executive roundtables. They will produce events end to end, build scalable processes and playbooks, prioritize programs by pipeline impact, measure performance, and report results. They will also manage operational marketing activity for existing association and program partnerships, coordinating with the strategic partnerships owner rather than negotiating new agreements, and manage the field marketing budget. Success in the first year includes a documented event calendar with pipeline intent, repeatable playbooks for event formats, a structured cadence for association partnerships, and measurable pipeline contribution from field programs and partner campaigns. The role calls for an autonomous, resourceful, operationally sharp marketer who is comfortable building marketing assets directly, working across teams and seniority levels, and using AI tools to work efficiently. Willow offers medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life and AD&D coverage; covers 100% of employee premiums and 95% of dependent premiums; provides a 401(k) with a 100% company match on the first 5% of contributions; offers accrued vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and Willow-paid parental leave coordinated with applicable state programs; and covers expenses for event travel. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors; no salary range is stated in the provided text.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, or event operations at a B2B SaaS or technology company; early-stage or high-growth experience preferred.
  • Track record of owning end-to-end event execution, from strategy through post-event attribution.
  • Hands-on experience building landing pages, email campaigns, collateral, and presentations.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or Dynamics CRM, Marketo or equivalent marketing automation, Figma or Canva, and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT as daily production tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect field programs to pipeline outcomes.
  • Experience building or operationalizing a partner or association engagement cadence, including co-marketing campaigns, joint events, and regular touchpoints.
  • US-based; role is fully remote.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize resources, execute operational details, communicate across levels, and build structure from ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on a lean marketing team and in a role involving multiple responsibilities.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS, facilities, real estate, sustainability, or built-environment-adjacent verticals.
  • Experience with industry association relationships or partner co-marketing programs.
  • Exposure to strategic partnership structuring, including deal terms and revenue share.
  • Willingness to travel to events, estimated at 15–20% annually.
  • WordPress or other CMS experience for landing page builds.
  • Prior experience with higher education or healthcare verticals.
  • Speaking and thought leadership program management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and activate the US field marketing strategy from planning through execution and measurement.
  • Identify events, associations, and formats that reach VP Facilities, CIO, and CFO buyers in priority sectors, and build Willow’s presence within named accounts.
  • Build and own the annual field marketing calendar, including owned events, industry conferences, speaking engagements, partner co-hosted webinars, and executive roundtables.
  • Identify and execute new and existing events and field tactics to reach Facilities, IT, and Finance leaders.
  • Make informed decisions about event participation and how to differentiate Willow’s presence.
  • Manage end-to-end event production, including pre- and post-event communications, booth materials, swag, and run-of-show logistics.
  • Build scalable processes, templates, documentation, and playbooks for consistent event execution and future scaling.
  • Identify and prioritize markets, accounts, and formats with the greatest potential impact on pipeline and deal acceleration.
  • Define program success metrics, track performance, and communicate results and insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Connect field programs to sourced, influenced, and attributed pipeline outcomes, tracking pipeline generated through partner campaigns and events separately from event-driven pipeline.
  • Manage operational activity for association and program partnerships, including regular check-ins, co-marketing campaigns, joint events, and digital programming.
  • Build a repeatable partner engagement playbook covering outreach cadence, campaign templates, and event co-hosting.
  • Coordinate with the strategic partnerships owner to execute marketing against existing partnership agreements rather than negotiate new agreements.
  • Manage the field marketing budget, track spending against plan, optimize for ROI, and extend resources through partner co-sponsorships and digital-first programming.
  • Create marketing materials hands-on, including landing pages, emails, collateral, and presentations.
  • Communicate with executives, speakers, venues, peers, and leadership, including reporting pipeline results.
  • Travel to events as needed, estimated at 15–20% annually.
