About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager is a strategic marketing leader responsible for driving the success of Cornerstone’s brand through high-impact promotional campaigns, forward commitment marketing, community launch support, and the development of scalable builder-focused programs. This role operates as the engine of field marketing operations, independently leading projects, translating builder business needs into actionable marketing strategies, and ensuring all initiatives are aligned with organizational, compliance, and production goals. Working under the direction of the Senior Marketing Operations Manager, the Field Marketing Manager partners closely with builder leadership, secondary marketing, compliance, and cross-functional teams to support preferred lending agreements, ABAs, and new builder onboarding workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years Field experience in Mortgage industry required
  • Proven ability to lead marketing initiatives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of builder promotions, financing scenarios such as forward commitments, joint ventures (JV) and affiliated business arrangement (ABA)
  • Experience and understanding of builder needs, go-to-market strategies and customer experience in the mortgage & new home construction industry
  • Possess strong working knowledge of builder programs including forward commitments, rate reduction programs, incentive structures, and required disclaimers.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with field onboarding and training
  • Creativity and initiative to develop engagement strategies for clients

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to resource for Loan Officers seeking marketing support, helping resolve issues, provide guidance, and drive adoption of marketing platforms and strategies.
  • Train and support Loan Officers on the use of marketing tools and systems (including but not limited to: Mortgage Coach, MMI, CRM, review automation tools, email automation, social media platforms, video messaging tools).
  • Ensure marketing consistency at scale by maintaining a unified field strategy; developing scalable assets, and providing training to minimize regional disparities and empower Loan Officers with compliant, high-impact marketing tools.
  • Develop and manage nurture campaigns and marketing collateral to support Loan Officers in building relationships with key referral partners, including but not limited to: Realtors, Financial Advisors and Builders.
  • Collaborate with individual originators to tailor marketing approaches to their market, partner base, and production goals.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between production teams and the marketing team, ensuring the delivery of relevant, high-performing materials by integrating boots-on-ground feedback into campaign planning and sales enablement initiative.
  • Create and manage Field Marketing roadmaps and project plans, translating strategic initiatives into actionable timelines, milestones, and workflows for the field marketing team and cross-functional partners.
  • Regularly engage with branches and regional sales leaders to ensure marketing alignment, gather insights, and proactively identify marketing opportunities.
  • Monitor marketing tool utilization, adoption rates, and campaign performance; generate insights to improve usage and effectiveness.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for field marketing initiatives; prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the Field Marketing Monday.com project management system, cleaning up existing boards, standardizing workflows, and ensuring consistent use to support planning, prioritization, and reporting.
  • Serve as the manager for Field Marketing Coordinators and/or Project Coordinators, overseeing execution, providing professional development, and ensuring alignment with field marketing strategy and service excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and manage field marketing staff as needed; assessing team performance and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Lead marketing initiatives with sales teams in the field; branch visits, presentations, and coordination of a collective strategy.
