About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager will lead our Neighborhood Marketing and Shows & Events department, focusing on face-to-face marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation. This role requires a charismatic and results-driven leader who thrives on building and managing high-performing teams while fostering a fun and engaging marketing culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer engagement, and a proven ability to drive results in field marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and leading successful face-to-face marketing teams.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, especially sales and call center leadership.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
  • Charismatic, professional, and energetic personality suitable for engaging customers at events and in the field.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day) during events, field visits, or canvassing activities.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (e.g., event materials, promotional displays, tents, etc.).
  • Must be able to work both indoors (e.g., retail environments) and outdoors (e.g., residential neighborhoods, community events) in various weather conditions.
  • Frequent driving and travel between locations required; must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to safely and effectively set up and tear down event displays and marketing booths.
  • Frequent use of hands for data entry, mobile device usage, and handling marketing materials.
  • Must be able to visually assess marketing setup quality and read printed materials, signs, and digital devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in direct sales, door-to-door sales/marketing, or event marketing, door to door preferred.
  • Knowledge of home improvement products and services.
  • Experience with CRM tools and data-driven marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing Neighborhood Marketing team to generate leads through door-to-door engagement.
  • Establish and manage the Shows & Events department, ensuring a captivating and effective presence at various events.
  • Foster a results-driven, energetic team culture that encourages collaboration, motivation, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the call center leadership team to align field marketing efforts with overall lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Implement and refine strategies to maximize ROI from face-to-face marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee marketing campaigns to boost lead quality and sales opportunities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for customers during shows, events, and neighborhood marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, retail store partners, and potential customers.
  • Utilize a professional and charismatic approach to generate interest and excitement about our products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to improve lead generation and team productivity.
  • Oversee event logistics, ensuring seamless execution and a strong return on investment.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry best practices in all marketing activities.
