About The Position

Inferact's mission is to grow vLLM as the world's AI inference engine and accelerate AI progress by making inference cheaper and faster. Founded by the creators and core maintainers of vLLM, we sit at the intersection of models and hardware, a position that took years to build. About the Role We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to own the global event engine for vLLM and Inferact, from major conferences and flagship vLLM events to local developer meetups and partner activations. This is an end-to-end execution role. You will own event strategy, venues, sponsorships, budgets, speakers, registration, CRM capture, vendors, onsite operations, and post-event follow-up. You will also build the repeatable playbooks and ecosystem partnerships that let Inferact scale events across the US, Europe, and APAC.

Requirements

Proven ownership of 500+ attendee conferences, enterprise events, or developer meetups from planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
Hands-on experience owning venue selection, sponsorships, budgets, vendors, speaker coordination, registration, attendee communications, and onsite logistics.
Hands-on experience setting up event registration, landing pages, and automated CRM lead capture using tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Luma, or comparable systems.
Experience measuring event performance through attendance, engagement, lead capture, pipeline influence, or partner outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent events and workstreams with high attention to detail and urgency.
Strong cross-functional skills with sales, partnerships, engineering, executives, design, agencies, and external vendors.

Nice To Haves

Experience running developer, AI, cloud, infrastructure, or open-source events.
Experience managing global event portfolios across the US, Europe, and APAC.
Experience designing sponsorship packages and managing partner participation in flagship conferences.
Track record creating event playbooks, scalable operating systems, and consistent post-event follow-up processes.
Experience with PyTorch, AI infrastructure, developer tools, cloud, GPU, or open-source communities.
Existing relationships across cloud providers, hardware vendors, model labs, or open-source foundations.
Experience building a field marketing function or global meetup program from 0 to 1.

Responsibilities

Own the global event engine for vLLM and Inferact, from major conferences and flagship vLLM events to local developer meetups and partner activations.
Own event strategy, venues, sponsorships, budgets, speakers, registration, CRM capture, vendors, onsite operations, and post-event follow-up.
Build repeatable playbooks and ecosystem partnerships that let Inferact scale events across the US, Europe, and APAC.
Plan and run vLLM meetups.
Build the conference sign-up system, including registration pages, RSVP and waitlist handling, confirmation and reminder emails, check-in, and CRM data flow.
Take over coordination of the already-booked Q4 calendar.
Own vLLM Conference US as the flagship event, including venue, sponsorship packages, program committee, speakers, and registration.
Own vLLM Conference China, including co-hosting terms with the PyTorch Foundation, branding, local vendors, and speaker coordination.
Own the global vLLM meetup program and Inferact company-hosted events across the US, Europe, and APAC.
Own event budgets, sponsorship decisions, lead capture, and post-event follow-up for every event.
Build a forward-looking partnership plan for hardware vendors, cloud providers, model labs, and open-source foundations we co-host with or sponsor.
Design a repeatable ecosystem events program for partners such as Google, AMD, and NVIDIA to participate in vLLM events.
Work with external event support to attract sponsors and participants around vLLM Conference launches, while developing clear positioning and marketing guidelines for Inferact vs. vLLM across conferences and events.
