About The Position

Supervise and assist Sports Manager in the overall maintenance and repair of ball fields and surrounding areas as outlined by the Recreation Superintendent. This role involves overseeing field preparation, equipment setup, and repairs, as well as identifying and reporting potential hazards. The position requires the ability to supervise and work well with others, take direction, and work weekends as needed. Applicants are subject to background and criminal investigations, and must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment.

Requirements

  • Graduation from accredited high school (diploma) or GED.
  • Knowledge of baseball/softball field requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with others.
  • Upon employment must possess a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Ability to take direction from department head.
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed.
  • All applicants subject to background and criminal investigation.
  • Any applicant considered for hire must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test before assuming job-related duties.
