About The Position

Supervise and assist Sports Manager in overall maintenance and repair of ball fields and surrounding area as outlined by Recreation Superintendent. The Field Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Sports & Aquatic Director and oversees the Field Maintenance Workers. This role involves overseeing field preparation, equipment setup, and repair and maintenance of the ball field area, as well as recognizing and reporting potential hazards. Related duties are performed as required.

Requirements

  • Graduation from accredited high school (diploma) or GED.
  • Knowledge of baseball/softball field requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with others.
  • Upon employment must possess a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Ability to take direction from department head.
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed.
  • All applicants subject to background and criminal investigation.
  • Any applicant considered for hire must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test before assuming job-related duties.
