About The Position

The Field Inventory Auditor verifies merchandise and cash at Company stores through physical counts using a handheld computer. The role also checks cash assets, money orders, lottery ticket inventory, bank deposits, and gasoline inventory; identifies incorrect prices and out-of-code merchandise; and conducts surveys to assess compliance with operational and financial procedures. The auditor is expected to work safely, independently with little supervision, and effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while contributing to team efforts. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Requirements

• One year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Valid driver’s license with no major offenses.
• Current liability car insurance.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
