About The Position

The Field Inventory Auditor verifies merchandise and cash at Circle K stores by conducting physical counts with a handheld computer. The role includes checking store pricing and merchandise dates, accounting for cash and other payment items, validating money orders, lottery inventory and bank deposits, and checking gasoline inventory and tanks. The auditor also conducts surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures, works safely, and contributes to team results. The work requires independence, limited supervision, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Job duties may change with or without advance notice.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Valid driver's license with no major offenses.
• Current liability car insurance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise and cash at company stores through physical counts using a handheld computer.
• Notify store managers of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise.
• Count and record cash, checks and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes and safes.
• Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Conduct surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Follow safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related work as needed.
