About The Position

The Inventory Auditor is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity while working in SAP Warehouse Management. The role involves monitoring inventory, completing counts and audits, maintaining product identification and locations, reporting discrepancies, and resolving inventory problems. The auditor also conducts root cause analysis and recommends process improvements to prevent recurring discrepancies.

Requirements

GED or high school diploma.
5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Experience and training in general safety and quality systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to lift 50 pounds as part of the job function.
Must maintain a current forklift operator certification.
Ability to travel between local plant locations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Must be organized and able to prioritize based on defined variables.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
Strong people skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control inventory integrity.
Cycle count materials daily and complete physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations.
Maintain product identification and ensure materials are in proper locations; search for misclassified inventory.
Report overages, shortages, and damaged products to supervision.
Publish weekly and quarterly inventory status reports using metrics identified by the Production Manager.
Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed.
Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them.
Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
