Field Inspector
About The Position
Quiktrak is seeking 1099 Audit and Inventory Inspectors to perform field audit inspections in their local area. This field-based role requires travel between assigned locations. As an independent contractor, the inspector performs floorplan audits, takes photos, collects data, and uploads inspection information using an Android or iOS device. Most inspections involve automobiles and equipment, while some assignments may involve property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. The role offers flexible scheduling and compensation per inspection, with fees varying according to complexity and location. Average earnings are stated as $1,500 per month or more, depending on location, availability, and the number of accepted assignments. Inspectors choose their own hours, with daytime availability Monday through Friday required. Applicants must be located in the United States.
Requirements
- 1099 independent contractor status.
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections.
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with common operating systems, including iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously.
