Requirements

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of Aflac’s products and systems, company procedures, Aflac sales hierarchy, and basic state requirements
  • Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively explain compliance requirements to the field force
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field
  • 3 years of work-related experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Handles state-specific responses to the Field Force; gathers documentation and conducts research for all contest manual adjustments; works with various internal departments to obtain information while researching manual adjustments
  • Uses various systems to run reports and view historical information for research purposes as well as verifying qualification history; ensures files are worked timely to ensure SLAs are met and acceptable levels of quality and productivity are maintained
  • Prepares a variety of routine correspondence, such as memos, letters, name/address information, and primary or secondary data for review and approval; gathers, organizes, and formats data for management review; completes documents and responses to inquiries, following standard procedures; identifies and suggests solutions to administrative problems; coordinates support from other departments and/or divisions to resolve problems or complete assignments
  • Communicates with Sales Leaders regarding adjustment file details/outcomes and/or program details.
  • Pulls reports in appropriate system and reviews to determine if qualification can be approved based on adjustment request and within established criteria; performs assessment of final eligibility based on established requirements.
  • Documents all manual adjustment details (to ensure all DOI information is captured) within the appropriate system; completes documents and responds to field inquiries, following standard procedures.
  • Monitors pended files for due dates to determine if pending documentation has been received; monitors due dates to determine qualification for manual tracking to verify contest eligibility
  • Works with RPM as a primary contest representative to conduct testing for field facing and internal reports to include qualifier detail/reporting to ensure coding is accurate based on program requirements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
