About The Position

Skydio Field Implementation Technician F3 Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Skydio Field Implementation Technician to install and maintain drone dock systems. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work on weekends, hybrid (remote and onsite), work early mornings, late evenings or nights, overnight shifts
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Able to travel frequently, including by plane, automobile, train, boat/ ferry, rideshare and other possible forms of travel
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation as well as car insurance that are maintained on a regular basis (car insurance and license need to be updated by expiration dates, car maintenance to ensure the ability to drive on site)
  • Must live within 50 miles of the applied market's metropolitan area
  • Some roles require fluency in more than one language; this will be communicated and confirmed during the hiring process
  • Able to multitask
  • Continued education, as required, this may include training, educational resources made mandatory by partnerships, etc
  • Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace are required
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of IT experience
  • Able to navigate and utilize Google Workspace applications and platfor
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of networks
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 25 feet
  • Able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to be on your feet up to 16 hours at a time
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, as well as various other motions in order to reach high or low places
  • Undeterred by the realities of working on rooftop environments (this can include but is not limited to: varying versions of heat, varying versions of cold, small spaces, large spaces, multiple levels or floors, etc)
  • Comfortable working around heavy machinery

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair and connect drone dock systems at customer sites in person (both hardware and software)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions
  • High level customer engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used; this includes but is not limited to accuracy of mandatory documentation
  • Communicate with customers and team members in a professional and courteous manner
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times
  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned
